COURSE OVERVIEW

The Raffles International Freshman Program adopts a collaborative model of universities and colleges, with teachers from both domestic and foreign universities teaching together. The domestic teaching location is set up at the Overseas Teaching and Training Center of Beijing Second International Studies University, and the learning period is one year.

This course combines academic English courses, skills and literacy courses, and professional credit courses. Intended to help students lay a solid foundation in their learning of key core knowledge areas while cultivating their practical abilities. Afterwards, travel to Singapore or Malaysia to complete the subsequent undergraduate courses (approximately 2.5 years). After successfully completing undergraduate studies, one can obtain a bachelor's degree from an overseas institution certified by the Ministry of Education of China.

At Raffles, you will study three major course modules for your international freshman year:

1. Academic English course: This module aims to cultivate students' Basic English ability in listening, speaking, reading and writing, enable students to communicate effectively in oral and written forms with confidence, and lay a solid foundation for students to study all English courses in Singapore in the future.

2. Skills and Literacy Course: Led by senior professional teachers, it focuses on cultivating students' innovative thinking to help them stay ahead in today's changing market trends.

3. Professional credit courses: taught offline by Raffles teachers, students need to master basic professional knowledge such as 3D photography technology and digital image processing. This course not only focuses on students' own development, but also closely aligns with market reality to help students stay ahead in today's changing market trends.
